Soya Milk Pie with Taro Topping

Pie

  • 125 gr FILMA® Prestige Margarine (Butter Blend Margarine)
  • 250 gr All Purpose Flour
  • 20 gr Powdered Sugar
  • 2 pc Egg Yolk

Whisk FILMA® Prestige Margarine, powdered sugar, and egg yolk until light and fluffy, then add all purpose flour and continue whisking to combine.

Line the dough in a pie mold ∅ 12 cm. Pierce with fork. Bake in a preheated oven at 170° C for 15 minutes, and fill with soya milk custard. Continue baking at 170° C for 10 – 15 minutes or until the custard is set. Let it cool and it is ready to be decorated with taro topping.

Taro Topping

  • 250 gr Purple Sweet Potato
  • 80 gr Granulated Sugar
  • 75 gr Water/Coconut Milk
  • 75 gr FILMA® Prestige Margarine (Butter Blend Margarine)

Steam the purple sweet potato until soft, then mash. Add granulated sugar, water/coconut milk, and FILMA® Prestige Margarine. Cook until the purple sweet potato is soft, similar consistency to paste.

Soya Milk Custard

  • 100 gr Egg Yolk
  • 400 gr Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 500 gr Unsweetened Soy Milk
  • Combine all ingredients and strain.

Finishing:

Decorate the top middle part of pie with taro topping, and fresh cream on the side.
