Moist Chocolate Layer Cake

Chocolate Cake

Ingredients A :

  • 10 Egg Yolks
  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 180 g Granulated Sugar
  • 15 g Cake Emulsifier
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Ingredients B :

  • 100 g Medium-Protein Flour
  • 25 g Milk Powder

Ingredients C :

  • 150 g FILMA® Prestige (Butter Blend Margarine), melted
  • 50 g FILMA® Cooking Oil
  • 50 gr Cocoa Powder

How to Make :

  1. Beat Ingredients A until thick and fluffy.
  2. Add Ingredients B and mix until well combined.
  3. Add Ingredients C and fold until fully incorporated.
  4. Prepare 3 round cake pans (18 cm in diameter), greased with white margarine and lined with baking paper. Pour the batter evenly and smooth the surface.
  5. Bake at 170°C for 35–40 minutes.
  6. Once the chocolate cakes are baked and cooled, slice each cake into two layers.

 

Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients :

  • 500 g Dark Chocolate Block, cut into small cubes
  • 250 g Dairy Whipping Cream

How to Make :

Heat both ingredients in a non-stick saucepan over low heat until fully melted and smooth.

Assembly :

  1. Spread Chocolate Ganache over the first layer of chocolate cake.
  2. Stack the 2nd cake layer and spread with Chocolate Ganache.
  3. Then stack the 3rd chocolate cake and spread with Chocolate Ganache.
  4. Then stack the 4th chocolate cake and spread with Chocolate Ganache.
  5. Then stack the 5th chocolate cake and spread with Chocolate Ganache.
  6. Place the 6th cake layer on top and coat the entire cake with Chocolate Ganache, and decorate with a pattern.
